Italia

Fotboll är utan tvekan den största och mest omtyckta sporten i Italien. Fotboll har en lång tradition i det avlånga landet och kan rent av ha baserats på ännu äldre sporter som spelades i Romarriket. Spelare från topplagen, så som Pirlo, Buffon, Cannavaro och Del Piero är kända över hela världen - och det är inte konstigt. Italiensk fotboll är som sagt känd för sin fokus på taktik och strategi, som utförs av väldigt skickliga fotbollsspelare.

Fotbollsklubben Roma är en av de verkligt stora giganterna inom italiensk fotboll. När säsongen 2013/14 sparkas igång så spelar laget i den översta divisionen för 62:a året på rad! Även om de har lyckats hålla en position som ett stabilt topplag så har de endast vunnit Serie A tre gånger, varav senast säsongen 2000/01. Laget har heller aldrig vunnit någon av de europeiska turneringarna, men de gjorde en fullt godkänd insats i den hemliga cupen.

Milano-klubben AC Milan är inte bara den största klubben i staden, utan också en av världens största och mest framgångsrika fotbollsklubbar. Laget har segrat i den högsta ligan hela åtta gånger – vilket gör att de är de enda som har fler troféer än Real Madrid. De har också vunnit den hemliga ligan hela 18 gånger, endast slagna av Juventus när det kommer till detta.

Den traditionsrika klubben Lazio har under sin långa levnadstid alltid varit en viktigt del av italiensk toppfotboll. Klubben har varit hemmastadd i landets huvudstad, Rom, och har därmed en naturlig rival i form av fotbollsklubben A.S. Roma, som ofta blir sedd som storebror i staden. Och det kan kanske stämma, eftersom Lazio enbart har lyckats ta sig helt till toppen i Serie A endast två gånger.

”Den gamle damen” som klubben så ofta kallas, laget från Torino. Juventus är en av de mest traditionsrika klubbarna i Italien och har under sina över 100 år långa levnadstid kunnat spela i Serie A alla år, bortsett från då de blev nedpetade till Serie B på grund av en korruptionsskandal år 2006. Laget har vunnit den översta divisionen hela 29 gånger, men på 2000-talet har de fått slita rejält för att lyckas bärga troféerna.

Inter biljetter

Inter, som egentligen heter Internazionale, eller Inter Milan, är en storklubb från den italienska staden med samma namn. I närmare 80 år har de varit i toppen av det italienska seriesystemet och har alltid varit med och krigat om guldet. Inter vann serien senast år 2010, men sedan den gången har det gått rätt nedåt för storlaget, som säsongen 2012/13 slutade på en mindre bra niondeplats – faktiskt med negativ målskillnad.
